Butler Technology Students Association

(Butler R-V School) Congratulations to the Butler High School TSA for their successful showing at state TSA Contest. The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a student organization that is being revived at Butler for the first time in years at Butler R-V. Out of our 10 students who went, 9 made the finals in at least one event - we may have been small and new, but we made an impression!

Results:

Dalton Fischer - 1st in Prepared Presentation

Caleb Jett, Slate Hayes, Alex Clover - 3rd Music Production

Callie Burris - 2nd Photographic Technology

Lizzie Lindsay - 3rd Photographic Technology

Slate Hayes placed 3rd and Dalton Fischer placed in the top six individually for their written Tech Bowl exams. There were at least 40 people competing in that event.

Tristin Melton made the top six with his CO2 powered dragster design - 25 cars competed

Adam Robison and Mason Hayes made top six in Technology Problem Solving- 51 teams competed.

They have several students eligible to compete at the National TSA conference to be held in Washington DC in June.
