Much of the afternoon should be quiet ahead of an approaching warm front, then another round of thunderstorms is expected to develop across southeastern Kansas late this afternoon.
These storms will build and expand northeast along the warm front, lifting into our area by early evening. Large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, and even an isolated tornado are possible this evening through the early overnight hours.
A third round of strong to severe storms is also possible Thursday, but should be focused mainly in our southeast.
