Bates County Sheriff's Office Press Release: Stolen Vehicle
On June 9, 2017 a Deputy was dispatched to Madison Street in Amoret to take a report of a stolen vehicle.
The reporting party stated he had been asleep outside the residence on a couch that was about 30 feet from the truck. He woke to the sound of the truck pulling away from him. He observed the truck heading toward the Butler area.
The truck is a 1988 Dodge Dakota.
