Jenkins, Bates County Prosecutor: Convicted Child Molester Sentenced A sentencing hearing was held Thursday July 6, 2017 for 62-year-old Richard Adams of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  Adams formerly of Adrian pleaded guilty on June 29, 2017 to three counts of 1st Degree Child Molestation and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
