Funeral services for Vernon Dowty will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2017 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Evengelist Bill McLaughlin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial, 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 9 in Ft. Scott National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, Kansas. Contributions to Heartland Hospice.
