Butler: Ohio Street United Methodist Church Determines Origin of Fire
It was determined today by inspectors that the fire Wednesday morning was caused by lightning striking the roof of the Ohio Street United Methodist Church, located at 205 Ohio Street in Butler. . The fire originated right above the altar area. This caused a fire above and debris from that fire fell onto the floor and caught the altar on fire.
