From the desk of Bates County Coroner Greg D. Mullinax Activity Report for the period March 1-31 2017
· 7 Nursing Home/Hospice type deaths were reported for the period. None were further investigated.
· On 3/5/17, the Bates County Coroner responded to a residence on Cedar Lane in south Butler where a male subject had been found deceased in his home. Robert J. Stewart was pronounced by Coroner Greg Mullinax at 3:25 PM; investigation determined the death due to natural causes.
