Bates County Sheriff's Arrest On 5/23/2017 a Bates County Deputy responded to county road 1501 approximately a mile and a half north of AA highway in reference to a subject in a car that appeared to be asleep. Once on scene the deputy made contact with the subject in the car identified as Daniel Peel DOB 04-21-1959 of Adrian.
