The Zoo is open year round from 8 am until 4 pm on weekdays and 9 am until 5 pm weekends. These summer hours are in effect Memorial Week-end to Labor Day week-end. The Kansas City Zoo is only closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
