Drexel VFW Annual Essay Contest Grades 6, 7 and 8 Bates and Cass County The local Drexel VFW Organization is spreading the word to area Cass County and Bates County  schools  of the National VFW Organization  sponsoring a patriotic youth essay writing competition for students in grades 6th 7th and 8th which gives national winners the opportunity to win at least $500 dollars in scholarship money .
