Update: Deer Hunter Shot in an Apparent Hunting Accident in Bates County
On Monday, November 13, 2017, Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, along with other local emergency response teams, responded to rural Amsterdam in regards to a report of a deer hunter who had been shot.
When Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was administering emergency medical treatment to the hunter.
