Two Vernon County People arrested on Felony warrants

Two people are behind bars after Vernon County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to make an arrest on a felony warrant service at a home in Deerfield. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, two Vernon County Deputies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Tyler Millman when a second subject climbed through the window in the back of the house and tried to escape through the back yard.

The subject who was then identified as John D Howell JR, 21 of Nevada was arrested by a Sheriff’s Deputy on multiple warrants including a probation violation warrant and a warrant for unlawful use of a weapon. Tyler Millman, 21 of Bronaugh was also arrested from that address shortly after on a felony warrant for tampering with a motor vehicle. Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said Millman had hid in the attic, but came down and surrendered after Howell was taken into custody. Both subjects are being held in the Vernon County Jail.
