The Boys Youth Development Center located at 501 North 14th Street in Rich Hill is a home for troubled teens, ages 11 through 17. The 24 bed facility provides a haven for boys from all over Southern Missouri for a 6 to 8 month period. The residents are home schooled and the organization is State funded.
The Center teaches young male adults the skills needed to re-shaping their lives, minds and improve relationships with family members, teachers and authority figures. The Center is State funded but it is in need of several amenities for the boys living at the center.
The Rich Hill Boys Youth Development Center will host a fund raising activity to generate funds for the expense of pizza parties, birthday presents and special dinners for the boys.
Tickets are now for sale to win a set of Firestone, Vehicle tires. This 500 dollar value will be redeemable from any of the 36, Firestone dealership in the Kansas City area, to include Lees Summit and Raymore or the Joplin dealership.
Tickets are for sale for 5 dollars each from Doug McCrorey, President of the Community Liaison Counsel Boys Youth Development Center in Rich Hill or from Security Bank in Rich Hill.
The deadline to purchase tickets to win a set of Firestone vehicle tires will be at 5 pm Friday February 28th. The winner will be announced by phone.
