Local Film, Rich Hill, Winner at the Sundance Film Festival.

RICH HILL, MO - The film was named Winner of the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Documentary:

Rich Hill, was directed by Tracy Droz Tragos and her cousin Andrew Droz Palermo.  The film centers on the homes and lives of a small town and three boys and allows the audience to see how they each face problems and issues in their everyday lives along with their families.

In their acceptance speech Palermo dedicated the prize to one of the mothers in the film who passed away ten days before the showing of the film at the Sundance Film Festival.

We congratulate Tracy Droz Tragos, whose father grew up in Rich Hill and also dedicated it to the families in Rich Hill, Missouri and Andrew Droz Palermo on their prize winning documentary “Rich Hill”.
