On February 14, 2018 a Deputy took a report of a theft that had occurred at a residence on County Road 2001 in rural Butler, MO.
The victim stated that her diamond ring had been stolen from her bag. She described the ring as being gold with 2 large diamonds and 2 smaller diamonds. She valued the ring at $10,000.00. On February 23, 2018 a Captain with the Bates County Sheriff’s Office conducted a vehicle stop on I-49. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately 135 grams of a crystal substance was located.
