Clinton Officer Killed Overnight During Traffic Stop Clinton Missouri police officer, Gary Michael, conducted a traffic stop in Clinton on a vehicle at 10:45 pm August 6. The driver exited the vehicle and fired on Officer Michael, striking the officer.
