Suspect in Clinton Officer Shooting Arrested
The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirms that 39 year old Ian McCarthy, the man suspected of shooting and killing a Clinton Police Officer, has been taken into custody near Bucksaw Resort.
The arresting Missouri State Highway Patrol Officer, Sargent Bill Lowe, stated that McCarthy was not armed at the time of his arrest, which took place around 6:15pm on Tuesday, August 8th.
