Appleton City Athletic Boosters Inc. Meet and Greet 4:00pm behind the high school on August 21st

Ellett Memorial Hospital Auxiliary meeting 2:30pm in the dining room on August 22nd

Appleton City Museum and History Center, 503 N. Maple, open 1:30pm to 4:30pm on August 23rd

Fit and Fun Block Party at Ellett Memorial Hospital 9:00am till 1:00pm on August 24th

Missouri Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday

Missouri's Tax Free Weekend for back-to-school supplies and clothing runs from August 2-4, 2013 and applies to the following items:

Clothing under $100
School supplies under $50
Computer software under $350
Computers/computer equipment under $3,500

Also remember most schools will have a School Supply List located in Walmart.

Appleton City Museum and History Center, 503 N. Maple, open 1:30 to 4:30

Western Missouri Truck & Tractor Show at the Frontier Village located in Adrian continues today. Gates open at 6a, $6/person.

Also a free health screening will be going on at the Sherwood Community Bank in Garden City from 9a to 11a. Courtesy of the Cass Regional Medical Center.
