leave Without Pay at Conoco in Butler

BATES COUNTY : On 06/15/2015 at approx. 1153pm Butler Police were contacted about a leave without pay from Conoco.


Officers picked up the vehicle as it was traveling East on Dakota St. then South on Broadway. The license plate came back to Teresa Woods of Mount Vernon as a stolen vehicle. Officers reported that the vehicle had entered the Fair grounds and had struck 2 poles during the pursuit and came to rest on the North side of the arena.


There were three subjects were in the vehicle one female Hayley Pace and 2 males Cooper Hawkins and Shaye Woods. It is believed that Shaye Woods stole the vehicle. All three were charged with stealing and Hayley Pace was also charged with C and I driving and several other traffic violations. All three were transported to the Bates Co Jail and were being held for the Lawrence Co Sheriffs office.

The Butler Police would like to think the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Bates Co Sheriffs office for their assistance
