Black Bear on the Move!
NEVADA - The week of June 3rd through June 7th, a black bear was spotted wandering northeast of Nevada Vernon County. The tracking of the black bear continued and the bear has now been spotted in Lincoln, Missouri.
The State Department of Conservation reminds Missourians that bears post little threat and it is illegal to kill a black bear in Missouri except to protect a person or property.
