On June 18ath, the Barton County Sheriff’s office activated the Southwest Missouri Major Case Squad to assist in the investigation of a reported assault in the city of Mindenmines, MO. The assault happened on June 16th in the 800 block of Tucker Street.
The victim of the assault is a 58 year old male who was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He is listed in critical condition at this time. A 32 year old male has been arrested in connection to the assault and is awaiting formal charges filed by the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney. The investigation is ongoing.
