BATES COUNTY, Mo – On 12-11-2014 The Bates County Sheriff’s Office conducted heavy traffic enforcement in a targeted area in Bates County. This resulted in four arrests:
Harry Clark Latier a white male (DOB 10-11-1961) of Lowry City, MO was arrested for possession of approximately 29 grams of marijuana. Latier was booked into the Bates County Jail and later released.
Amber Black a white female (DOB 03-09-1992) of Shell City, MO was arrested for an outstanding Cass county warrant for passing bad checks. The bond was set at $1,000.00 cash only.
Kyle Miller a white male (DOB 10-29-1993) of Rich Hill was arrested for two outstanding warrants for failure to appear for stealing. His bond was set at $241.00 cash only out of the City of Raymore.
Cody Moore a white male (DOB 04-29-1994) of Adrian, MO was arrested for three outstanding warrants out of the City of Butler. The warrants were for Failure to Appear for violation of probation (Bond was $50.00 cash), Failure to appear for possession of marijuana (Bond was $500.00 cash/surety) and also for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia (Bond was $500.00 cash/surety).
On 12-11-2014 Bates county Deputies responded to a call in Rockville, MO in reference to a burglary. The victim stated that two suspects kicked in the front door of the victim’s residence. The suspects then broke out two windows and also broke their television. The suspects then abducted the victim. The victim was returned home with no injuries. Bates county Detective’s opened an investigation and identified the two suspects as Roger Collins a white male (DOB 10-27-1957) and Sherri Austin a white female (DOB 05-12-1969) of Indian Springs, MO. A search warrant was executed on the suspect’s residence. Once the Detectives were inside the residence, Detectives located and collected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The suspects were arrested at the scene, and are currently being held at the Bates County Jail for burglary in the first degree which is a class C felony. Their bond set at $75,000.00 cash or surety by the Honorable Judge Journey.
On 05-21-2014 an investigation was opened for a sexual crime that occurred just outside of Adrian, MO. A suspect had been arrested and charged for the sexual crime. The investigations lead to the arrest of another suspect that was involved in the crime. Amy Fitzpatrick a white female (DOB 12-31-1981) from Butler, MO was arrested on December 10, 2014 for her involvement. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Fitzpatrick. She was charged with two counts of statutory sodomy an unclassified felony. Fitzpatrick was also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child which is a class C felony. Her bond was set at $50,000.00 cash/surety.
