BATES COUNTY, Mo – Congratulations to the new owners of the Adrian Journal, Lee Anna and Paula Schowengerdt and Tabitha Leister. Lee Anna and Paula bring a wealth of experience in the newspaper business, starting off their journalism career at the News Xpress in Butler.
FM92 spoke exclusively with Lee Anna this morning and she stated the paper will be a county paper, not just a regional paper covering city events. They will also have an office in Butler at a location to be determined.
In conjunction with this, Greg Mullinax who is President of the Butler Chamber of Commerce told fm92 the Butler Chamber Office will be moved to a new location and a press release will be forth coming this afternoon regarding the move.
FM92 wishes Lee Anna, Paula and Tabitha continued success in their new endeavor as the owners of the Adrian Journal.
