KANSAS CITY, Mo – Two exciting, new attractions will be featured at this year’s Western Farm Show. The Farm Show will be held February 20th – 22nd at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City.
New this year is Farmland, a documentary about the care and dedication that goes into producing America’s food supply and a cooking show conducted by the Taste of Home magazine.
Farmland will be shown at 1pm on Friday, February 20th and at 11am and 1pm on Sunday, February 22nd in the American Royal’s Wagstaff Theater.
The Taste of Home Cooking School will be held on Saturday, February 21st beginning at 1:30pm in the Wagstaff Theater.
Both the documentary and cooking show admission is included in the general admission, which is $8 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Free tickets to the cooking show will be available at the American Family Insurance’s booth.
Now in it’s 54th season, the show will feature over 400,000 square feet of farm equipment and other agricultural products, a Championship Tractor Pull, Low Stress Livestock Handling Demonstration, Health and Safety Roundup, Family Living Center and the FFA “Border War” Food Drive.
Show hours are from 9am to 5pm on both Friday and Saturday, February 2oth and 21st and 9am – 4pm on Sunday.
