Briggs was northbound on County Road NE 1503 when she lost control of her 1999 Saturn, traveled of the roadway, struck a fence and overturned three times. Briggs was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to the Bates County Memorial Hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
