Drivers can expect some minor delays when resurfacing of a 26 mile stretch of I-49 begins the week of June 16, according to MoDot.
Contractor crews will resurface both north – and south-bound lanes of I-49 between Cass County Routes A/B at Archie and Bates County Routes A/B at Rich Hill.
Motorists can expect one lane at a time to be closed during the project resulting in limited delays. Work will be done primarily during daytime hours, but some night work is possible.
The project is expected to be completed by November 2014.
