Two Drug Search Warrants Executed in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Mo – According to Henry County Sheriff Kent Oberkrom, two persons were arrested on 24-hour investigation for drug-related charges, in connection with two search warrants which were served on Friday, March 6, 2015, shortly after 11:30 a.m. The search warrants were executed in the 100 block of East Allen Street, as well as in the 200 block of NW Hwy 7, both in the Clinton area.


The search warrants authorized law enforcement officers to search both addresses for methamphetamine, as well as items associated with its distribution, including currency. During the search warrants’ executions, over two (2) ounces of methamphetamine, as well as $ 17,000 dollars was discovered and seized.


Arrested was Randal Lee Gibbs, age 44, for distribution of controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Also arrested was Jessica Kay Wilson, age 34, for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Both arrestees are from Clinton.

“This was a very labor-intensive investigation involving several different agencies including both C-NET and MID-MO Drug Task Forces, which encompassed many months of information gathering and yield a successful outcome as the operation came together”, Sheriff Oberkrom stated. “This operation was a great example of a teamwork effort by all agencies and officers involved, which lead to the issuance of both search warrants”, Sheriff Oberkrom concluded.


The tactical entry team from the Bates County Sheriff’s Office was deployed at the East Allen residence and was assisted by deputies of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, officers of the Clinton Police Department, as well as operatives from C-NET Drug Task Force. Henry County deputies, as well as C-NET operatives executed the search warrant at the NW Hwy 7 business.


Those deputies which participated were Major Rob Hills, Sgt. Mike Nelson, Sgt. Aaron Brown, Cpl. Chase Jackson and Deputies Brady Graham and Lenny Kubilus. Assisting from the Clinton Police Department was Patrolmen Pat Dahman and Chris Wright.
