ADRIAN MO : A program on Optimizing Forage Production Efficiency, Utilization and Economic Considerations in Beef Cattle Operations will be held Thursday, April 9, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The location is at the Antique Tractor Village Kitchen in Adrian, Missouri on the southeast side of Interstate 49 and Highway 18.
Topics and speakers are as follows: “Livestock Nutrition Management and Extending the Grazing Season” by David Hoffman, Cass County MU Extension Regional Livestock Specialist; “Comparative Economics of Pasture and Haying Systems” by Mark Jenner, Bates County MU Extension Regional Ag Business Specialist;
“Maximizing Forage Growth” by Pat Miller, Vernon County MU Extension Regional Agronomy Specialist. The fee to attend is $20 to cover the cost of the meals and program materials; make checks payable to Bates County Extension.
