VERNON COUNTY, Mo – A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of one of Vernon Counties most wanted Tuesday evening.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, Kevin M. Wyland, 19, of Nevada was taken into custody by deputies during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant for failure to obey a judge’s order on possession of a controlled substance charge.
According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, deputies also recovered what they believe to be a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia during the stop. The Sheriff said additional charges may be filed when the investigation is completed. Wyland is being held in the Vernon County jail on a no-bond warrant.
