BATES COUNTY, Mo – Bates County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are currently looking for a sex offender who is an absconder.
David Lee Ashford (DOB 6/6/1972) was due to register on September 19, 2014 and has failed to do so. Mr. Ashford is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.
Deputies have been searching for him for two months and cannot locate him. His last known address was Route 5 Box 315 in Butler, MO. He is currently not living at this residence.
