BATES COUNTY, Mo – Early season accumulating snows expected this weekend. A fast moving storm system will bring wintry conditions to all of northeastern Kansas and north-central Missouri on Saturday.
Snow will overspread the area after daybreak with snow gradually tapering off by late afternoon and early evening. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected for much of the area before snow comes to an end Saturday evening. A winter weather advisory in effect from 6 am Saturday to midnight CST Saturday night.

Accumulating snow and reduced visibility will result in hazardous travel across the region through much of the day.
