Deadline Approaching for Appleton City Businesses

The May 1^st Deadline for Appleton City business owners to submit their application for improvements to the fronts of their buildings is quickly approaching.

This $500 matching grant is to encourage improvements in the attractiveness of downtown Appleton City. Information regarding the grant and an application may be obtained at the Appleton City Hall and only one grant will be awarded.

The winner of the grant will be announced at the May meeting of the Appleton City Main Street Vision Committee.

The winner will have until December 31, 2014 to complete their improvement and present a receipt proving that at least $1,000 was spent on their project.

Any projects done prior to this year’s grant application will not qualify.
