BATES COUNTY, Mo – On July 3rd, the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 26 year old Wesley M Hays of Pleasanton, KS after he was involved in the fatal accident of Larry Berry, Bates County Southern Commissioner.
Mr. Hays was charged on July 3rd with:
1. DWI – Alcohol – Persistent Offender
2. Involuntary Manslaughter
3. Possession of Marijuana
4. Failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Fm92 spoke the Bates County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and here is the update on the case. The Prosecutor’s office is currently waiting for the final report from the Missouri Highway Patrol and then the case will proceed.
