Stolen Cattle

BARTON COUNTY, Mo – On 01-03-2015, a Rancher reported to the Barton County, Missouri Sheriff’s Office that 22 head of Black Angus cattle had been stolen from his land 138 S.E. 30th Lane in rural Lamar, Missouri.


The Rancher believes they may have been stolen after Christmas because that is when he noticed he was not using as much cattle feed. He checked the fences and found no breaks or obvious exit points.


The stolen cattle consisted of 5 Black Angus cows, 11 Black Angus bull calves, and 6 Black Angus heifer calves. The estimated value is $29,500.00. The cattle had yellow ear tags.
