Bates County Community Health Foundation offers $1,000 Scholarship

The Bates County Community Health Foundation has a mission to create opportunities for caring individuals and families in our area to participate in providing top-quality health care for all residents of Bates County and the surrounding areas.  They are offering a $1,000 scholarship with the following criteria:

  • Reside in Bates County

  • Pursue a career in the healthcare field

  • Must be accepted in a chosen healthcare program

  • Maintain a grade point average of 3.0

  • Good communication skills

  • Write an essay stating why you are pursuing a healthcare career

  • Provide three letters of recommendation


Contact the Administration office of the Bates County Memorial Hospital for applications and all applications must be returned on or before May 30th.  Send your application to:
