A class, Finding Beauty in Cactus & Succulents, will be held Tuesday, May 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Marmaduke Park Community Building at 600 W. Highland, Nevada, MO. The class will be taught by Judy Pique.
Judy particularly enjoys introducing unique cacti and succulents to adults and children. Through the years she has given many talks, slide presentations, demonstrations, attended many conventions and has judged numerous shows. She has traveled through the Southwest, Baja California, Mexico, Chile and NW Argentina. She has a large collection of plants and several hardy cactus and succulent gardens in her yard. She enjoys propagating her current collection and growing from seed. Her goal is to expand the joy of growing and learning about these unique plants and their habitats to the young and old alike.
