The Caskey Law Firm Announces Expansion of Legal Services

Butler, Mo. – The Caskey Law Firm announces an expansion of legal services through a new co-counsel agreement with the Benjamin Law Firm located in Belton, Missouri. The lawyers at the Benjamin Law Firm will co-counsel with Senator Harold Caskey on cases involving civil and criminal litigation at the Butler office located on the west side of the Butler square. The lawyers who will co-counsel with Caskey include Kimberly Benjamin, Julie Highley, and Christopher Benjamin.


Kimberly is past president of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and she has handled over 60 jury trials. Julie is a former prosecutor and juvenile court counsel who has handled over 20 jury trial and 100 bench trials as well as appellate litigation. Christopher is a local municipal judge who handles civil and domestic litigation and he is the former Chief of Staff to the Missouri Speaker of the House.


Senator Caskey will continue his senior status with the firm and he will oversee the cases handled by the Caskey Law Firm with the Benjamin Law Firm as co-counsel. Caskey continues mentoring younger attorneys and serving on various boards including the Bates County Memorial Hospital Board and the Missouri Capitol Commission. Caskey served as State Senator for 28 years representing the counties of Bates, Cass, Henry, Johnson, St. Clair, and Vernon.
