Shooting Incident in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Mo – According to Henry County Sheriff Kent Oberkrom, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 9:13 p.m., Deputy Zach Sebree and Deputy Sheri Dody responded to 477 SE Hwy U in regards to a person who had a gunshot wound. At the scene, Deputy Sebree identified a male subject who had been shot in each leg. Transported from the scene to Truman Medical by Golden Valley Ambulance was Patrick Thomas Baker, age 50, of Kansas City, Missouri. It was believed that Baker’s wounds were not life threatening.


Detective Sgt. Mike Nelson along with Sheriff Oberkrom and Major Hills assisted at the scene and conducted an investigation. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the actual shooting had occurred in Benton County earlier Saturday evening. Benton County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and given information concerning the shooting incident.


No arrests have been made at this time.
