Burnt Vehicle Found in Drexel, Mo

BATES COUNTY, Mo – On May 16, 2015, Deputies from the Bates County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to field off of AA Highway in Drexel, MO in reference to a burnt vehicle.


The vehicle was located on a former roadway that was between two fields. The vehicle had been completely burned. The Deputy was able to read what was left of the license plate and have Dispatch run a check on it through MULES.


The vehicle checked back to a 2005 Pontiac that had been stolen from Harrisonville, MO. The Deputy contacted Harrisonville Police Department and had the vehicle towed from the scene.
