R.A.D. - Rape Aggression Defense Class

BATES COUNTY, Mo – Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson, will be hosting a R.A.D. class for female residents of Bates County. R.A.D. is the largest self-defense training program in the country. The class will be taught by a Certified R.A.D. Instructor. The Rape Aggression and Defense class will teach realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to women regardless of their level of physical condition. R.A.D. is not a martial arts program, nor does it require students to be athletes to succeed.

Students of all levels of ability, age, experience and strength will be provided with techniques and information that can be used for their self-defense in physical and non-physical options.

The class will be held on May 23rd and 24th. This is a two day class that will start at 9 a.m. and end around 1 p.m. on each day. Participants will be required to attend both days of class. Each participant will receive a manual for reference and practice. Once you complete the program, your manual that will be signed by the Instructor will be your ticket for free lifetime return and practice with any R.A.D. Instructor in the U.S.

You will need to wear work-out type clothing that does not have any buttons or zippers on it. You will also need to remove any jewelry. The class is for any female resident of Bates County who is 13 years of age or older. Anyone who is under the age of 18 will have to bring a parent or guardian on the first day of class to sign a waiver.

The class is free for Bates County residents only. The size of the class is limited to 20 participants. This is a highly sought after class. If you sign up for the class and do not show up without giving a 48 hour notice that you can’t attend, you will not be permitted to attend any future classes. If you want to sign up for the class, please contact Jami Page at 660-679-3232.
