BATES COUNTY, Mo – Area ladies are invited to the Bates County Career Women’s Forum on Saturday, September 13th in the Community Room of the First Assembly of God Church in Butler.
The theme this year is “Learning from the Past – Changing Lives for the Future” and will feature two speakers. Ann Spivak worked for the Kansas City Star for 23 years and currently is the Development Director for the Genesis School; and Peggy Buhr, Bates County Museum Director.
Registration begins at 8:30am, and the advanced cost of the tickets is just $20 per person. Advanced tickets may be purchased form Alice Jennings of Butler, Edie Collectibles or What to Wear on the Butler square.
A homemade brunch and fashion show is just part of the festivities planned for the day, as well as dozens of door prizes.
