There will be an Industry Outlook & Risk Management meeting for Beef Producers, timely topics will be covered. Is this the right time to expand herd? And how can we be prepared to mitigate the many challenges and risk involved in beef production?
Nathanial Cahill, Agricultural Business Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, will discuss the outlook of beef production and mitigating risk with livestock and forage insurance.
The meeting will take place at the West Central Regional Extension Office in Clinton, MO (908 N. 2nd St.) on May 12th. There is a fee of $10 per person that will cover all materials and refreshment costs. While registration is not required, it is requested that participants register by May 11th with the Henry County Extension Center at 660-885-5556.
