The National Weather Service is predicting light snow is possible this afternoon and this evening as a quick-moving disturbance moves across the region, spreading a swath of up to 1" of snow across much of northern and central Missouri and northeastern Kansas.
Frigid temperatures will also continue early this week with highs 15 to 25 degrees below normal today and Monday, but should eventually begin to increase by mid-week.
