Butler Celebrates FFA Week

National FFA Week is February 15 – 22^nd and the Butler Chapter of the Future Farmers of American will celebrate FFA week on Monday as the chapter hands out locker lags to their members.  FFA members will wear their FFA jacket and boots to school on Tuesday; and on Wednesday, February 19^th it will be red vs green (John Deere vs. Case).  On Thursday, members will be allowed to drive their tractors to school and on Friday they will be traveling to the Western Farm Show for National FFA Day, February 21^st.

Friday, February 21^st is also the Border Battle as Missouri FFA Chapters take on Kansas Chapters to see who brings the most canned and non-perishable food to be distributed to Harvesters Community Food Network.  Winning chapter will win $500 for their local chapter.
