The national Weather Service is advising us of bitterly cold temperatures which will remain with us into Friday.
Lows tonight will not be quite as cold as this morning but still drop below zero for the vast majority of the region.
Dangerously cold wind chills from -15 to -20 are expected over northern Missouri and extreme northeast Kansas even though winds will be very light.
The rest of the region can expect wind chills from -5 to -14. So, once again bundle up with layered clothing and cover all exposed skin to prevent frostbite and hypothermia.
