Stockton, Mo. – A forage meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 18th at the Osceola First Baptist Church, 505 Walnut St, Osceola, MO 64776.
This meeting is to educate farmers on strategies to improve their pastures for grazing and or hay production.
The speakers for the meeting include:
Pat Miller, University of Missouri—Extension Agronomy Specialist, Vernon County, discussing “Soil fertility, weed, and brush control”
Patrick Davis, University of Missouri—Extension Livestock Specialist, Cedar County, discussing “Adding forage variety to pastures to improve pasture and grazing quality”
Refreshments will be available at the meeting. Meeting cost is $10 per person and please pre-register by February 14th.
