2014 Non-Insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program

BUTLER, MO - Producers interested in purchasing coverage through the NAP program on uninsurable crops must file an application by March 17, 2014. The NAP program will cover any commercial agriculture crop or commodity (excluding Livestock and their by-products) for which multi-peril insurance is not offered.  An application may be filed for pecans, fruits, vegetables and forage crops (for hay or grazing).

The administrative fee is $250 per crop.  It must be paid when the application for Coverage is made.  Producers are also required to file an acreage report prior to 15 days from start of harvest. For forage crops used for pasture or hay a acreage report must be filed by November 15, 2013 the date has been extended.
