Pantry Thrift Store Donates Quilts

According to the Pantry Thrift Store Volunteer Quilt Club 41 children’s quilts have been donated so far in 2014.

The Quilt Club has provided 15 quilts to the Ronald McDonald House and 16 more to the Children’s Mercy Oncology Unit earlier this year and volunteers make the quilts from fabric donated to the Thrift Store.

The Pantry Thrift Store is always looking for monetary donations to purchase batting for the quilts. The Pantry Thrift Store would like to express their gratitude for the hard working volunteers and also to those who donated fabric.

Pictured is Amy from the Children’s Abuse Center accepting 10 quilts from Joyce, Community Food Pantry of Butler Executive Director.
