(BUTLER, MO – May 13, 2014) – The office remodeling has been completed and now the Bates County Extension Office personnel would like to show it off. In celebration of Extension’s 100th anniversary, local Extension faculty and staff are inviting the public to an open house on Friday, June 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Come and grab a bite to eat and take a tour of the office to see the freshly painted walls, updated furniture, rearranged front office and the new flooring. If you haven’t been to the Extension Office in a while, we think you will be pleasantly surprised by the change.

Co-county program directors Nutrition Specialist Tammy Roberts and 4-H Youth Specialist Alan Mundey; along with Ag Business Specialist Mark Jenner; FNP assistant Nicole Cravens; and Office Manager Brenda Doody will be hosting the open house and will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the University of Missouri Extension program.

The Bates County Extension Office is located in the southeast corner of the Bates County Courthouse. Just look for the large MU Extension sign on the outside of the building.
