Thanks to the generosity of people in our area the Pool Pal Program has the finish line almost in sight.
To date, 62 children will be able to enjoy swimming in the Butler Pool this summer but there are still children on the list that may not have that opportunity. With the pool opening on Saturday, May 24th the hot days of summer will quickly be here.
If you haven’t taken the time to make a donation to this worthy cause, now is the time to help out underprivileged children in our area that would not otherwise have the opportunity to go to the pool this year.
The Bates County Youth Advocacy Council is asking for your help to reach their goal for 2014 of providing a pass to all the children on their list, and they can only do that with your help.
